Decrease Your Stress by Getting a Pet – Seriously!
Want to know a secret on how to increase your stress tolerance?
Get a pet! (If you’re an animal lover of course.)
Companion animals have been scientifically proven to decrease our stress levels, increase our happiness, and even improve our longevity.
Service animals are now being used to help university students destress before/after exams, for nervous travellers in airports, and even to support children who are in situations where they need to attend a court proceeding. And they make a dramatic positive impact. 💚
Pets are also a great way for our high-estrogen neurosignature people to engage in their empathetic, caretaking, and nurturing tendencies!
I can say that my sample group of 7 has come back with a resounding YES that our lives are better for having little Nanu in them. 😆
…now just to figure out how to get her to sign some copies of The Brain-Friendly Workplace on her own. 🤔
