About Friederike Fabritius

Friederike Fabritius is a neuroscientist, Wall Street Journal bestselling author, and global keynote speaker. She helps leaders turn neuroscience into practical ways to work, lead, and perform better.

Friederike has always been curious about how the brain works and why people behave the way they do. That curiosity led her into neuroscience. When she left the laboratory for management consulting, she was shocked by how people worked. It bore little resemblance to what she knew about how brains work best. Not even close.

She is an alumna of McKinsey & Company and the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research.

She went back to the research with practical questions: How can we learn better, collaborate better, and perform at our best? And how can busy executives use that knowledge? Since then, Friederike has worked with C-level executives from more than 164 countries to create brain-friendly ways of working.

This work also led her to write her Wall Street Journal bestseller, The Brain-Friendly Workplace: Why Talented People Quit and How to Get Them to Stay, and her award-winning book The Leading Brain. Both books have been translated and published internationally.
