I understand that this workplace switch is a tough one. It involves a shift in mindset from the top down. But you can implement my 7-step blueprint for trying out outcome culture in your company.
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: Start with a small pilot to keep control of the “experiment.” If it doesn’t work out, you can reverse it with minimal employee grumbling.
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮: Establish ground rules that support productivity and quiet, distraction-free workspaces, such as no social media activity during office hours and keeping small talk to a minimum.
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯: Measure outcomes by tracking key performance indicators. Let your employees know that expectations will stay the same, as will salaries and benefits.
