Constant Multitasking is Shrinking Your Brain
Constant multitasking is literally shrinking your brain.
Have you ever wondered why you feel so drained at the end of a super demanding day when you’re trying to stay on top of everything? Or why after spending a lot of time on your phone you feel as though you need to give your brain a break?

Research has revealed that multitasking causes shrinkage of your brain, specifically the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC).
Since the ACC is responsible for attention and executive control, it’s really no surprise that we feel drained after multitasking! And over time, instead of improving, our ability to multitask deteriorates for the same reason. Making it even MORE draining.
For better focus and productivity, and brain health, work on getting back to a One Task At A Time approach. What may seem a bit slow at the start, will actually pay off in the long run.
