A Public Health Crisis That’s Not Being Talked About

What is one of the most significant public health issues we are facing currently?

It is likely one that you have not heard much about…

Since 1973 there has been a significant and measurable decline in sperm count in men across the globe.

Not only have numbers been consistently declining based on long term studies and analysis, the rate of decline has actually increased in the last 23 years. The data is shocking: “For all men combined, [sperm count] declined by 0.93% per year and overall, by 41.5% between 1973 and 2018.”

A recent study states, “This substantial and persistent decline is now recognized as a significant public health concern.” and “Research on the causes of this continuing decline and actions to prevent further disruption of male reproductive health are urgently needed.”

The next big question here is: why? Why is this happening, and what can we do about it?

The first thing that comes to mind for me are harmful chemicals and all the things that we put into our bodies that shouldn’t be there in the first place. What do you think?
